About Jeff Anderson
Jeff Anderson joined Harris Corp in 1982 as a Reliability Engineer with a BSEE from Iowa State University and has held many engineering responsibilities including Analog Designer, Systems Engineer, Advanced Program Engineer, and Business Area Chief Engineer. He has also been an Analog/Mixed Signal IC Designer and President/CEO of a small Fabless Semiconductor company. He was the Chief Systems Engineer for the CoNNeCT program (Ka Band Space Software Defined Radio) which was inducted into the Space Technology Hall of Fame in 2019, as the Harris AppSTAR TM Architecture. Jeff continues the AppSTAR pursuits as the Chief System Engineer and Tasking Authority for the SeaSmart (AC7) program (Marine Band VHF Receiver) which presently tracks ships worldwide as a Hosted Payload on the Iridium Next Constellation.
About Dave Mottarella
David Mottarella is a Senior Principle Manager for Maritime Geospatial Solutions, Space and Intelligence Systems (SIS) at Harris Corporation. The SIS organization is dedicated to complete Earth observation, weather, geospatial, space protection, and intelligence solutions from advanced sensors and payloads, ground processing, and information analytics. Mr. Mottarella is responsible for product development, sustained operations and customer relations for the Maritime product line. In his role, as an innovator he has advanced the state of the art in Maritime Domain Awareness and currently holds 2 US Patents (Pending).
