Mission

The mission of the Cables and Connectors Committee is to address analytical techniques, modeling, materials testing and engineering design of the components and assemblies—as well as the function and performance—of related handling components and systems.

Mechanical Engineer - Maritime Systems Operation

 

 


Jennifer Snyder is a mechanical engineer of maritime systems operations at Leidos.  Previously she served as senior mechanical engineer and project manager at SAIC.  She has over 10 years of experience in submarine cabling and marine engineering.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara University and a professional engineering license in Washington State.  

In addition to her technical duties, Ms. Snyder supports the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC) Executive Committee in coordination of activities with the International Seabed Authority, submarine power cable outreach, and fault database working group.  She has also published multiple technical papers and presented at conferences such as OCEANS, EnergyOcean, and OWET.
