Arctic Technology Committee

Overview of the Committee

The Arctic Technology Committee is primary forum for technical discussion on Arctic marine technologies.  The climate, environment, isolation and seasonal darkness of the Arctic present special challenges that require technologically innovative solutions. Such solutions will also find application in other challenging, remote and harsh ocean areas; in the search for energy, and in developing ocean renewable energy and seabed mineral resources.

Mission

The Arctic Technology Committee's objective is to bring together industry associations, academia, governmental agencies, and private sector participants in a common forum to address challenges and technological applications pertaining to the Arctic.
