Membership dues are paid annually, on a rolling basis. You may establish an auto-renewal at the time of application. Life memberships are valid for life, non-transferable. Learn about benefits associated with your member type. You may add a print subscription to the Marine Technology Society Journal when you join or renew your membership.

$75 Annual Cost
Any person who is working in the marine field or a closely related field.

Any person with an interest in the marine field or works to support the industry (Associate)

Any person within 10 years of his/her last professional degree and who is working in the marine field or a closely related field

For a one-time fee, Life Members are MTS members for life.

Small Business
$550 Annual Cost
Any business firm whose gross annual income is less than $4 million. These companies receive 6 free Individual Memberships to the Society.

Any library, government unit or other qualified non-profit organization. Institutions receive 6 free Individual Memberships to the Society.

$1,000 Annual Cost
Any business firm whose gross annual income is more than $4 million. Silver member companies receive 11 free Individual Memberships to the Society.

Any business firm whose gross annual income is more than $4 million. Gold member companies receive 16 free Individual Memberships to the Society.

$10,000 Annual Cost
Any business firm whose gross annual income is more than $4 million. Platinum member are the highest-level partners of MTS. Platinum companies receive 25 free Individual Memberships to the Society.
