Using Unmanned Vehicles in Oil Spill Recovery TechSurge

February 4, 2019 - February 4, 2019

The coordinated use of Maritime Unmanned Systems or Untethered Unmanned Vehicles is on the rise for multiple applications. This TechSurge will focus on the use of UUVs to monitor and respond to large scale oil release events. This one day meeting will bring together the GoMRI and MTS communities and others for “flash talks” and panel discussions to share research results and begin discussions of how the scientific and technical communities might work together to better prepare for the next spill.

The GoMRI Annual Meeting, Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill & Ecosystem Science Conference (GoMOSES), is scheduled for the same week in New Orleans as the Underwater Intervention Conference.

We hope to see you there!
