Description: There is a continuing need for cost-effective solutions for detecting, capturing and sequestering atmospheric byproducts from energy production to take the necessary steps toward achieving climate goals. The 2023 webinar series will focus on some of the most pervasive pollutants impacting our air and water. Panelists will present information about the issues, implemented solutions, insight into potential new technologies and solutions, and the workforce needed to support the industry.

About the Panelists:

Geoffrey Lamdin, CEO Founder/Business Developer, Director - SeaChange
Geoff Lamdin is an avowed cleantech junkie and serial entrepreneur. He is the founding CEO of SeaChange Group where he led the company through its early growth stages. Geoff continues to serve as director, leading strategic and business development and funding. As a former consultant, he worked to extend the capabilities and capacity of a company or organization to build, refine and improve their business at lower risk. He finds connections and solves problems where others think they are not and makes things go. Geoff also was a consulting partner for Maine Biofuels International, a biodiesel company, a co-founder of Introspective Systems/Dynamic Grid, an intelligence software company and the LamdinGroup, a sustainability health and wellness company. He has been mentoring and judging early-stage companies with the National Cleantech Open and Marine Top Gun program for more than ten years. 

Karen Frost, The Water Council
Karen is responsible for economic development activities and the suite of innovation programs for The Water Council. She leads the organization's international efforts and works closely with our European representative to serve partners and companies in Europe and beyond. She is an experienced connector and strong relationship builder and collaborator with the small business community, project partners and funders. 

Rick Schrynemeeckers, Executive Vice President - Amplified Geochemical Imaging, LLC
Mr. Schrynemeeckers holds a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University and a M. Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of North Texas. He has worked in the oil industry for 20 years. He began his career working for Sun Oil Company in Dallas in the Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) division. He then worked for many years in the environmental arena as a Laboratory Director and General Manager of several laboratories in his career. He then returned to the oil industry working for the geochemistry laboratory Baseline Resolution in the greater Houston area, TX. His focus was developing partnerships and setting-up satellite geochemistry laboratories around the world in countries like Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, and Egypt. He then worked for StratoChem Services, a geochemistry laboratory in Cairo for two years. He began working for Amplified Geochemical Imaging, LLC in 2011. He was promoted to the role of Executive Vice President in 2022 and now oversees all operations (e.g., manufacturing, analytical services, environmental sales, and explorations sales) for the company. Mr. Schrynemeeckers is also the Technology Lead for all CCUS endeavors within the company, which include leading research and development efforts, capability promotion, as well as keeping abreast of breakthroughs in the industry.
