MTS and the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) launched a new Ocean Decade action - the Industry Dialogue series - a forum for compact and meaningful dialogue with new and established companies, academia, and government. This series of events aims to dismantle barriers and highlight opportunities towards achieving a mature Ocean Observing Enterprise through a successful and thriving mix of the public and private technologies and players. On March 17, at Oceanology International, a session was held to explore how technological innovation enables ocean scientific research.
