About

On behalf of the MTS India Section and Department of EEE, SRM Institute and Science and Technology, you are invited to attend the International Conference on “AI FOR THE OCEANS 2025 - ICAIO 2025" during 16th -18th April 2025 in SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Tamilnadu. This conference aims at exploring Artificial Intelligence for the oceans at its deepest level and explore the oceans resources. The conference will pave the way for creating interest in interdisciplinary research areas for all engineering domains.
This conference is the outcome of the prelude event MTS TECHSURGE “AI FOR THE OCEANS” conducted on Feb 4, 2023. Ms. Zdenka Willis, Past President of Marine Technology Society, USA felicitated the event. The conference aims at new innovative research and industry-standard works in the area of oceans to be discussed and presented by the authors. The conference will have 12 sessions comprising 12 tracks as per the themes of the conference. The theme of the Conference underscores the critical importance of oceanic health, sustainability, and global collaboration. It aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue among scientists, policymakers, and stakeholders to address pressing issues such as marine conservation, climate change impact mitigation, and sustainable resource management. Emphasizing the interconnectedness of ocean health with global ecosystems, the conference seeks innovative solutions through research presentations, workshops, and panel discussions. By promoting knowledge exchange and fostering partnerships, it aims to drive actionable outcomes for marine biodiversity preservation and resilient coastal communities worldwide. The conference serves as a pivotal platform to shape policies and practices for a sustainable ocean future.
