Singapore Section

The Singapore Section of MTS has served its members through regular workshops and conferences, most recently the Global OCEANS 2020: Singapore-U.S. Gulf Coast virtual conference.

Singapore is one of the busiest container transshipment ports in the world with close to 1000 vessels at any one time in its ports. It connects over 600 ports in 120 countries with 130,000 vessel calls annually. Managing port operations, while maintaining the sanctity of oceans, is a very complex task in such a high traffic environment.
