OCEAN ENTERPRISE / INDUSTRY DIALOGUES (Oi)

Description: The Marine Technology Society, the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS), and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), along with industry partners, have launched a new Dialogues with Industry Roadmap. This is a continued forum for compact and meaningful change. The Roadmap builds on the Dialogues with Industry series, which is a series of consultations with Ocean Enterprise stakeholders. The Roadmap assesses and prioritizes the proposed potential pathways identified in the Dialogues with Industry Synthesis Report and subsequent consultations. An important feature of the Dialogues with Industry series is its focus on an integrated set of actions that will enhance all components of the Ocean Enterprise across the Ocean Information Value Chain, as compared to focusing on individual actions. The key initiatives planned for 2024 will be discussed, as well as plans for hosting a second Dialogues with Industry.
